Stansted Airport has good parking options, with short-term, mid-term and long-term car parks available; the short-stay car park is located very close to the terminal, while the mid-stay and long-stay car parks are served by courtesy buses. For payment, take a ticket at the barrier on entry and pay on your return at the pay stations in the Arrivals areas of the terminal, or pay by credit card at the barrier on exit.
Short-Stay Airport Car Parking
The Short-Stay Car Park is located next to the terminal building and is free for the first 15 minutes, making it good for pick-ups and drop-offs. Parking is charged by the hour.
Mid-Stay Airport Car Parking
The Mid-Stay car parks at London Stansted Airport (STN) are a five-minute bus ride away from the terminal and are bookable in advance or you can just turn up. Prices are reasonable and are calculated on a daily basis.
Long-Stay Airport Car Parking
Long-stay parking is for those who plan on parking for a minimum of five days; although you can stay here for a shorter time but a five-day charge will be levied. Courtesy shuttle buses run from the car park to the airport frequently throughout the day (every eight minutes during peak times). It is advisable to book spaces in this car park in advance (tel: +44 121 410 5228).
Valet Airport Car Parking
Stansted Airport also offers valet parking, known as the Meet and Greet Valet Parking service. You will need to pre-book this service. A chauffer will meet you at the terminal at a pre-arranged time and then park you car in a safe compound; you will also be met on your return. Disabled Airport Car Parking
Disabled drivers are taken care of at London Stansted Airport (STN), with specially designated car parking spaces for disabled badge holders in both the long-stay and short-stay car parks. Porter assistance is also available from the car parks by calling: +44 870 000 0303 beforehand.
